Having dedicated the first Big Bang model to Tuiga, a 15-metre J-Class yacht built in 1909, renovated in 1993 and owned by the Monaco Yacht Club, Hublot has now chosen the image of a contemporary yacht and a partnership for the design of its very latest Big Bang. It bears the name of a team that is taking part for the 3rd time in the oldest sailing race in the world with high hopes of being amongst the winning challengers!
The latest in the Big Bang collection will be issued in a numbered limited edition of 1000 watches. The design is extreme, distinguished, refined and exclusive. Constructed using advanced technology materials (carbon, Kevlar, titanium, ceramics and rubber), which makes its genetic code the same as that of the America Class yacht, it bears the signature Luna Rossa on the famous red line drawn on its carbon case, as well as inside the natural rubber strap.
